(b) Low water pressure safety switch that is connected to the trip governor control.
(c) Replaceable screen of 20 mesh that is incorporated in the fluid line capable of successful operation with a water supply pressure ranging from 35 pounds per square inch gage (psig) to 70 psig and a water supply temperature ranging from 80 degrees F to 100 degrees F.
(4) Load controls that:
(a) Control the load on the engine to within ± one percent of the torque indicator full scale value, and ± one percent of the horsepower indicator full scale value.
(b) Provide coarse and fine adjustment of any load within the dynamometer capacity range in no more than one minute.
(c) Mount on the control console.
(5) Throttle control that:
(a) Provides throttle control for all engines listed herein.
(b) Operates in conjunction with the overspeed trip governor.
(c) Installs on the power absorber frame and connects to the engine throttle lever with an adjustable linkage.
(d) Is controlled by the control transmitter mounted on the control console.
(6) Engine fuel system that:
(a) Is supplied as part of the dynamometer system, that conducts fuel from a supply outlet, provided by the Government, through a shutoff valve, fuel filters, selector valves, fuel flow measuring units, modulating valves, and fuel lines.
(b) Is mounted on a panel which can be easily attached and removed from the power absorber frame.
(c) Has valve stem packing material that is compatible with gasoline and diesel fuel.
(d) Has all metal piping made of brass or copper or stainless steel.
(e) Permits passage of 400 pounds of fuel per hour with a pressure drop in the system of less than 4 psig.
(f) Has convenient and efficient bleed-offs provided to eliminate vapor locks.
(g) Has filters of the replaceable element type having a rating of not more than 5-microns.
